Big problem with electric cars no one mentions by: Anonymous
Imagine every vehicle owner having at least one electric car either as their main car or secondary car.
Now think about our infrastructure....correct that aging infrastructure that already has problems due to not enough power plants when we have extreme weather.
Multiply that by 2 or 3 times due to everybody charging their little electric cars all at once every morning on the way to work which then you have a major overload problem with the grid and this ISN'T even counting extreme weather patterns like heatwaves and cold spells.
Other energy sources like those electric windmills are known to freeze and break during extreme cold weather or ice storms which such things happened in Great Britain that know one is talking about on main stream media but if you search hard enough you will find articles.
See? Congrass is only using *Green Technology* as a way to earn money and mostlypower for themselves as they know their time is running out for hating the USA.
While exploring alternative energies is a good practice having it be ran from the top down by the government is NOT because it allows no room for creation when someone sees fit since everybody has to answer to the *big boys* in town while making sure people are forced to take these energies thru laws.
Another problem that people need to be aware of:
One part of the Stimulus bill *that nobody in charge read* is the ban of wood fireplaces in 2014 that will prohibit homeowners from owning woodstoves since they pollute emissions that are *harmful* to the environment.
Meaning they cannot be independent of the grid by using fireplaces.
The government wants to track you for every purchase of green technology if you buy stuff they approve and sell.
It's a government monopoly.

We need to move forward by: elmo
This is just another reason why we need to move as quickly as possible, (much as in the same manner as Kennedy's challenge to get a man on the moon) to alternative energy vehicles.
I know, I know, we wil have to build more electrical plants. B.S!!!
I know of little old engineers that power their cars on solar energy right out of their homes. Don't tell me we aren't smart enough!!!
