HHO is legitimate, and there has been a long standing following of this technology for decades within America. The trucking industry has sworn by their oxyhydrogen machines for over a decade. There are entire "rallies" where truckers gather to show off there generators and brag about their individual gas savings. And how do they brag you might ask? They display their on-board computer printouts and fuel logs. What the nay sayers keep pointing out, like a broken record, is that the energy needed is the same as the energy given. Yes, this is true, when you try to use HHO on its own. When you add oxyhydrogen to the complex hydrocarbon chain of todays fuels you get positive numbers all the way across the board. Especially considering the average alternator puts out more power than is needed by the vehicle to begin with. The power needed to have the air/radio/spark plugs/ect going is rarely over 75% of the alternators full output. WHY NOT put that otherwise completely waisted energy into something? you know? Really, this is being studies by world governments. It is being used in military vihicles to this day. It is proven and it has been for almost 150 years. To give "No your all wrong, the world is flat, not round" people any time is mainly a waste, beyond the entertainment factor.

the world is full of stupid and dumb people willing to pay their money to cheats. The same story is with HHO/"Brown gas" believers. On the one side are cheats trying to sell their HHO generators and on the other side are buyers with no (or very little) physics education. They probably deserve to be robbed of they money (are you dumb, pay then ;-).
The whole idea of producing the 2 H2 + O2 gas for use as additional fuel in cars is based on the false assumption that electricity from the car-alternator comes for free - you probably think that it is enought for electricity to be produced only by rotating the alternator shaft.
But truth is - more load you suck from the alternator then more power is needed to keep the alternator shaft rotating - so the engine must work harder and automatically burns more fuel from the tank - the fuel consumption goes up!
You go to garage and ask the mechanic to your car to diagnostic computer. You start the car and check the fuel consumption on computer. Then turn on the lights and rear window defogger and check the fuel consumption again. It will go up! You will see the similar result when you connect your HHO generator to cars electrical system.
On one university I saw the tool designed for demonstration of that - it was bicycle like thing with pedals powering electrical alternator and set of bulbs used as load for alternator. With all bulbs switched off it was very easy to turn the alternator, but when I switched on the bulbs, it became very hard - with all bulbs switched on I was unable to rotate the pedals anymore - it was so hard.
It's the same story with the HHO generators - the more HHO you want to deliver into engine, the more electricity from the alternator needs to be delivered into the HHO generator. And not to forget - no energy conversions in the real world come with 100% efficiency, so some energy in alternator and HHO generator is wasted in the form of heat...
I appreciate you guys are getting the better mileage with your HHO car-kits - and that's because you all drive more carefully - you do watch your gas-pedal more now than before ;-)

You share no technical information. I feel like I read a very adolescent paper. Someone who has issues, and cannot play well with others. Spent alot of time in autoshop in highschool. Stop ranting and learn to make your work. If you need help, there are many people out there that would most enjoy instructing others to create the unbelieveable. Uh, So... the car charges the battery which gives some of it's electricity to charge the water and release the gas which helps the engine run which turns the alternator which charges the battery which....
It may reduce gasoline consumption (which is good), but why don't we just build efficient electric car batteries and motors to turn the wheels.
Free power is an always will be a myth -- get over it.
Now if you could show me an HHO generator that produced about 2 liters per minute and used about 1 amp at XX volts... I take it all back.

Very unfortunate that the tradesman Brown neglected to study physics if only to appreciate his own naiveté of naming a hot gas after himself. Way too much folklore has been applied to HHO in the name of "Brown's Gas". Thank goodness I did not waste the thousands of dollars it costs to buy a manufactured "Brown's" gas generator for use in cutting and welding steel. Thank you, Jon. Flim-Flammers are often well meaning people, but for Brown to neglect research results that refuted his claims while continuing to collect investors' money places Brown firmly amongst the quacks.

This article addresses the potential industrial applications of hho in welding, it does not address the automotive application aspects. I think it would be vastly more useful and applicable to research the automotive applications of electrolysis and the use of hydroxy in enhanced air/fuel intake combustion than to discount the use of HHO completely regardless of who bamboozeled who in the past. By the way if you are a user of hho in your auto go to this site if you live in northern climates and need a freeze resistant electrolyte mixture, it is similar to the deicing fluid used on aircraft.

Half of that articla is character assassination and the other half is someone waxing lyrical about how things used to be done and how it should stay the same! Maybe welding is better with a mig welder, but a mig doesn't reduce fuel consumption or bring down radioactivity levels or have potential medical applications...sounds to me like someone has eaten a jealousy pill!
Get down off your high horse and show some recognition for a discovery that could be extremely significant instead of calling him various swear words.
And for your information, he had to change his name when he left the eastern block countries, the man was a staunch anti-communist who had a communist wife. The cow turned him in and he spent many years in jail. When he finally escaped to australia, he took the name 'Brown'. Do your homework!!!

Regarding Yull Brown's English family name. My bet is that it is an Anglicized version. Bulgarian is basically a Slavic tongue. Having studied Russian, another Slavic language, years ago my bet is that his name was some form of the Slavic word for brown. The Russian word would be "karichni". If I were wanting to be a Bulgarian immigrant in an English-speaking country I would certainly want to have a name that English speakers can easily pronounce, and yet retain some of the original meaning.

Tank after tank my fuel consumption is proving one thing and one thing only.
My simple self constructed "Hydronator" is surprising me day after day.
Just one issue that is bugging me somewhat!
Is there enough evidence that there would not be any damage to my vehicle?
