A possible Idea

I have a crazy, possible alternative source of energy. its similar to the concept of wind energy. Im not sure exactly what the item i'm relating too is called, so this will be hard to explain. Have any of you seen one of those pendulum-like desk toys, where there's a central platform with a magnet, and 2 metal balls swinging back and forth? The magnet propels the 2 balls, keeping them in motion. Similar, if not based off of Foucault pendulum.
Well back to my idea. What if we were to make a giant scale model of this pendulum, and when the pendulum swings back and forth, it produces electricity. Like i said earlier, similar to wind energy. Except this doesn't rely on any uncontrollable force, and (i don't know how wind energy works im guessing here) it seems to move faster then a slow wheel, in theory, producing more energy.
